Hey everyone! My name is Rachel (the one with the hard to pronounce last name). Hopefully this will help you get to know me a little better. I’m from Clearwater, Florida and you can usually either find me at the Y or partaking in some type of adventure. I love pretty much anything to do with the water, I also swam competitively in high school. I love exploring and I have dreams to travel and dive all over the world. I also have interests in reef conservation, among many other aspects of the ocean. I love scuba diving, I recently got my instructors certification. Fun fact: I am a huge Tampa Bay Lightning fan!
For now, I am currently in my second year at the University of Florida (GO GATORS!). I am studying Health Education and Behavior with a specialization in Community Promotions. After graduation, I have hopes of pursing a Health Administration, Public Health, or Family, Youth, and Community Science Master’s degree. In the near future, I hope to study abroad in Ireland. A long-term career goal of mine is working for the Y! I hope this gives you a little insight into my life! I love meeting new people and I’d love to get the chance to know you all.
