Hi, my name is Josh Stansell and I am an honor leader for the Brace Family YMCA. I love to be outdoors and workout. Otherwise I am watching TV or reading a book. I play soccer and love being a camp counselor.
What is your favorite BRLS story, memory, or experience?
My favorite memory has to be during my 6th year, a class called experiential learning, we had a lake day, and all of the 6 years hung out and swam, kayaked and paddle boarded. It was awesome to just relax during a crazy stressful and fun week.
What is your favorite Leaders’ Club story, memory, or experience?
My favorite memory was the Saturday everyone arrived at BRLS during my 1st year, I watched my president get off the bus and walk directly into the mirror. It was very funny and was a huge relief because I had heard horror stories of falling off the bus. At least I wasn’t the first to embarrass myself.
What are you most looking forward to for BRLS this year?
I am looking forward to meeting each and every first year and seeing old faces as well.
If you could give your 1st year self one piece of advice, what would it be?
Embrace each second with open arms, because it only happens once. Enjoy each second as much as possible.
