My name is Noah Hirji, and I am a professional DJ who studies and works for the University of South Florida. I am from the Campo Family YMCA in Tampa Florida, and I have been in leaders club for 7 years, going on 5 years on the mountain. I love and am super passionate about music, 0.5 pics, and serving my community. Currently, I am in the Zeta Beta Tau Fraternity at USF, and they provide me with the outlet to keep doing what I love, DJing and Volunteering!
What is your favorite BRLS story, memory, or experience?
My favorite moment while at BRLS was my first year Tuesday Vespers. I cried my eyes out that day to such a powerful message, and it turned my entire week around. I was in my shell, and that moment made me realize the opportunity I have to make that week the best week of my life.
What is your favorite Leaders’ Club story, memory, or experience?
My favorite Leaders Club experience was being on our LC’s executive board, and running and planning meetings for everyone in my leaders club. It was such a good team building experience, and it gave me insight on how to properly lead my leaders club and make those years great.
What are you most looking forward to for BRLS this year?
One thing I am most looking forward to is the ability to talk to everyone and see everyone again! BRLS is my home, and I cannot wait another minute to be back!!
If you could give your 1st year self one piece of advice, what would it be?
Open your mind up to new things, and give it your all. Blue Ridge Leaders School is supposed to be a week of character development and growth within yourself, so take advantage of it. Make friends, have fun, and take care of yourself!
Tell us a fun fact about anything!!
I am half Indian, a quarter Pakistani, and a quarter Kenyan, so I am diversely all over the place!
